IMPRO NEUF (NOR)
KALEIDOSCOPES

Explore past and future eras and civilizations that no history books nor science fiction movies had shown you.
It’s the Edo-era Japan, the Industrial Revolution in England, the Kolkata bear market in 1982, or the post-apocalypse real estate agents on Mars. Explore past and future eras and civilizations that no history books nor science fiction movies had shown you.
Inspired by David Mitchell's critically acclaimed novel Cloud Atlas, Kaleidoscopes is an epic improvised play across time. We embark on a journey through time—from the drama of ancient gods in Mount Olympus, to the discovery of coffee in Ethiopia, the accidental invention of cheese pizza, to the arrival of Europeans in the Philippines, to the future of microwave robots in Poland—and we make you laugh and reflect on human follies and victories.
Impro Neuf was founded in Oslo in 2015 and is now the biggest and most inclusive improv community in Norway. With Kaleidoscopes they present their flagship show showcasing some of Impro Neuf top talents, first performed in 2019. Their cast comes from diverse backgrounds - from Finland, Poland, Somalia, Indonesia, Spain, and Norway, and C

BLOODY MARY INVESTIGATORS

Stand in front of a mirror and say Bloody Mary, and she might just appear.
From the moment we were children, the world was full of stories adults told us. Don’t eat before swimming—you’ll get cramps and drown. Eat carrots and suddenly you’ll have night vision. Stand in front of a mirror and say Bloody Mary, and she might just appear.
Now, only the world’s quirkiest trio of lore-hunters can uncover the truth. Two adults and one 8-year-old will improvise their way through the dark corners of adult white lies and childhood horror stories (or are they?). Emma and Peter have been doing improv for 25 years, Hannah on the other hand is fearless, and quite possibly the only person truly qualified to investigate childhood legends because she still is a child.
Peter More (UK), Hannah More (UK/SE/NL) and Emma Wessleus (SE) is a trio where two of the members created the third one at an improv festival 8 years ago. Between them they have 25 years of performing experience. Together, the trio forms the world’s most chaotic investigative unit.
"...we explore the balance between structure and spontaneity, finding comedy that grows from truth, relationships, and bold choices."
The show combine playful, character-driven longform with a sharp sense of comedic game. We love variation, moving freely between fast-paced absurdity and quiet, heartfelt moments. Each performance becomes a unique mix of rhythm, tone, and surprise, shaped by the audience and the energy in the room.
Inspired by both European theatricality and the American longform tradition, we explore the balance between structure and spontaneity, finding comedy that grows from truth, relationships, and bold choices.
Hjalmar, Ellen, and David each bring something different to the mix, heart, craft, and chaos in perfect balance. They’ve been teaching and performing improv for years, and now they’re building Lilla Improteatern together in Stockholm. What connects them is curiosity, playfulness and trust, both on stage and off. They challenge each other, make each other laugh, and try to create the kind of improv that surprises even us. “In short: we’re a small team with big love for what we do, for each other and the audience.”

SPINOFF
Art is pain. Pain is art. Two self-absorbed and “definitely not masochistic” artists take on the challenge of a lifetime: to create musical comedy with feeling—while feeling the real pain of electrocution.
SadoMusical combines the lively fun of improv and musical comedy with the edgier thrills of alternative cabaret and clown. Lee and Jayda wanted to subvert the traditional expectation that good art or theatre is only possible with suffering, and this show is the result. In what may be their worst idea yet, they take inspiration from the audience to create hilarious and sincere songs, sketches, and stories, with the added challenge of being strapped to electro-shock devices, dipped in hot wax, and lightly beaten by an elderly woman with a stick.
You’ll be shocked, and so will the players—literally.
