TWO SHORT PLANKS (UK)
MONOPOLARIZED

From secret dreams to guilty confessions, one thing is for sure – the characters will never be the same again, and nor will you.
If you’re looking for deliciously awkward silences and laughs aplenty, then look no further than MonoPolarised with Two Short Planks – British improv veterans Jon Trevor & Stags Woodward. Come and bear witness as they weave a tale of two people stuck together, from nothing more than a location suggested by the audience. Who are they, and why are they there? How do they know each other, and what do they each want? Who knows where the story might take us?
As events unwind, expect poignant revelations, surprising consequences, and strange twists. From secret dreams to guilty confessions, one thing is for sure—the characters will never be the same again, and nor will you. MonoPolarised is a 3-act exploration of dramatic pauses, awkward silences, and shifting status dynamics, performed in an intimate, dynamic style.

YOUR SONG

Music has meaning. Music can set and change someone's mood in a heartbeat. In this improvised freeform chaos spectacular Equally Alike playfully explores, dissects and reassembles one of your very own favourite songs. The duo, consisting of Christian Hjärner and Michelle Haughton are well known for their entertainingly crazed and physical improv. Their format doesn't only teasingly brutally entertain, it most probably will give Your Song several new meanings. So buckle up, prepare for shocks, laughter, and a wild ride.
Christian Hjärner and Michelle Haughton met through Gothenburg's international improv group, Impram. From their very first scene, they realized they weren't just an incredible match as scene partners but also shared a similar energy, humor, and a delightful madness. That madness needed to come out, and it did—in the form of the duo, Your Song.
